Hello!
My name is Bounlisth, I am 40 years old. My wife, our four children, our dog, and I are excited to welcome you to our family-run resort.
Together, we manage two businesses: BL Travel, a travel agency based in Thakhek, and our Resort in Nakai, located about one hour from Thakhek. The resort is situated near the Nam Theun reservoir and is a popular stop for motorbikers doing the Thakhek Loop—a breathtaking journey of up to four days that attracts travelers from all over the world.
Surrounded by nature, our resort offers a peaceful and authentic environment, ideal for travelers looking to slow down and escape the noise of busy cities.

What we offer in return:
- You will have your own private room with shared bathroom (if they are too many volunteers you can share a dorm with maximum 3 beds)
- You will be able to share 3 meals a day with our family.
- Free Wi-Fi.
- Free coffee and mineral water.
- You can join fun activities that we provide (sunset boat tour, fishing tour, trekking).
Note:
1) Vegetarian/vegan - no worries, we can cater to your needs.
2) Religion/lifestyle (food restriction) - specify your meal preferences in your message.
Autres infos...
During your time off, you can explore nature, go fishing with us but one thing is important for you to know, in Nakay there is no rental bike, only possible in the next town Thakhek (3 hours by bus or 1 hour 30 by car).
Of course if you do come by with a motorbike, there are plenty of caves and nice waterfalls to see as we are situated on the Taekhek Loop.
Also everyday there is 4 buses/day for Thakhek on the market square : 7.30 am / 8.30 / 12.00 or 4.30 pm.
There is a local market (morning/night) nearby, walking distance from the resort, if you wish to get your daily necessities.

Perfect host!
I stayed 1 month and 2 weeks in his hotel to help him. It was a better experience than expected. The staff is so kind, helpful and warmful. I helped him for the marketing part.
I discovered so many things about the lao culture, and saw beautiful place. I think it is the best experience you can have in Laos.

It was a wonderful time with Bounlisth and his staff ! I stayed 7 weeks to help him to start his hotel and it was a great experience ! His staff improve their English all the time and they were very friendly with me. I was so sad to leave this place and I will be back for sure !
