Description
TATE is a Basque Architect & Landscape Architect who studied and taught at the legendary "École de Genève", an alternative Architecture School at the University of Geneva (SWITZERLAND).
After a decade in Switzerland, she founded A Site | Art | Landscape & Film | Experimental Research STUDIO, based at The Cliffs House where she grew up on the BASQUE COAST.
As a co-creator, she has participated in various projects to preserve Seaside Landscapes, becoming one of the characters in the TVE documentary series "Red Natura" while also exploring & guiding paddle-surf trips in Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve (BASQUE COAST).
She's now restoring, in the GALICIAN COAST (SPAIN), a family ARTIST HOUSE by THE SEA in her ancestral lands as a RURAL SEASIDE REFUGE / HIDEAWAY situated in a beautiful little village in the countryside of the Galician Finisterrae Lands (SPAIN).
A retreat to slow down and follow the rhythms of nature — a unique hideaway surrounded by paradisiacal landscapes, where she loves to surf the wild Atlantic waves and has recently been drawn to the dream of sailing beyond the end of the world. -

*As we are not offering food, we are not requesting more than 15 hours help a week (3 hours per day, 5 days a week). -

TATE's Rural Refuge by the Sea is situated in a beautiful little coutryside village facing one of the most beautiful and Natural Estuaries in the "Rías Baixas" of Atlantic Galicia. The charming rural village is located on a hill next to the "Camino" of Santiago towards Cape Finisterre; Pilgrimage to the End of the World.
