  Description

  Active Retired Couple in our 60's Ex Dairy Farmers with 2 little dogs. We have a small Lifestyle property with Cows and Chickens. Previously on the diary farm we had Woofers and enjoyed meeting young people from different countries. We even had a Young German lad who stayed 6 months and returned later with his mother. We enjoy life, having laughs and fun. We will provide 3 really good home cooked meals a day and a queen bed room in exchange for 4 hours work. Mainly need assistance for Gardening and outdoor work, building, clearing old hot houses.

  We have an active social life and a friendly in the true kiwi fashion, we grow and preserve much of our own food and we would include our guests in our day to day lives.we have a Motorhome and travel a lot so we have great knowledge of beautiful places in NZ

  Need a little help with Gardens and general property maintenance, as we try to become more self-sufficient. Trimming trees, weeding garden, assisting with fencing, little house cleaning on wet days, building barn doors, feeding cows and chickens, preserving food

  We can offer a Large bedroom within our home, Queen Bed and shared Bathroom and Laundry facilities. Or we do have 2 bedrooms available, for people wanting their own space.

  Waimate has so many activities to offer, walking tracks, disc golf, movie, great dinning. And we would take you out to our local restaurant for Pizza Night each tuesday
