Look after our cats Luna and Sky in the Italian Alps in Savoulx, Italy

  Description

  We are a UK/Irish couple living in the Italian mountains. Occasionally we travel to the UK and other parts of Europe in our camper van and at that time need someone to stay at our place and look after our two rescue cats Luna and Sky and also water a few house and balcony plants and herbs. We live in a beautiful part of the Alps and are surrounded by mountains and walking and biking trails. We are just 5k from a train station that has direct trains to Turin. For road cyclists we are close to some of the famous mountain climbs from the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France.
  
  
  We are looking for someone to stay at our place for 3 weeks in October 2026.

  We work in the ski industry and are close to several ski resorts with thriving international communities. Although most of our direct neighbours are Italian there are lots of English speaking people living in the local area and we can point you in their direction.

  Aide

  Luna and Sky are 2 rescue cats that came to live with us in early August 2026 at 10 months old. There are a little shy at first but soon warm up and after you have fed them a few meals they will be your friends. Duties will include feeding them in the morning and evening, cleaning out the litter trays each day, and playing some games with them. Sky is the more lively confident girl who loves to chase feather wand toys, Luna is timid but loves to play in a tunnel and catch anything that gets stuck under the tunnel!

  Hébergement

  You will have your own room (made up as a single or double bed) and use of the rest of the apartment (kitchen, living room and bathroom). Workawayers will be cooking for themselves.

  Due to our location it would be good to have a car or a bike or scooter to get around. The nearest village store is 10 minutes walk but for bars and restaurants and bigger shops it is around 5k.

  Sky is a confident girl, she loves playing with flying toys.

  

  Luna (11 mois)

  Luna is a little shy when you first meet her. She does not like being picked up but when she knows you she will come over for a stroke occasionally. She loves playing and catching toys.
