I stayed with this warm and welcoming family in June 2018, and I feel incredibly lucky to have met them at the start of my travels through Italy. It feels strange to leave a review for a family that have become good friends. I enjoyed their company so much that I have seen them again twice since I left! They very kindly adopted me for Christmas
… read more this year and I have not yet recovered from the five days of feasting with all their lovely family and friends. I can only repeat what previous volunteers have said about Lapo and Clelia - they are incredibly mature, intelligent, thoughtful and engaging young people and I had a lot of fun spending time with them. I ate so well while staying with this family and I was included in all of their family outings. They live in a beautiful house about ten minutes' drive from Lucca city centre. I made my first workaway experience with this family and I can only repeat what the other workawayers wrote: they are the best family you can hope for!!! Staying with this wonderful family was the best experience could have ever hoped for. Serena and Pablo are so warm and welcoming - they made me feel like I was part of the family and went out of their way to show me the authentic Tuscan experience! They are also so funny - at family dinner we spent a LOT of time laughing. It was a true privilege
