Description
We are located in beautiful Anchor Point 5 miles from Cook Inlet and the Anchor River where salmon are plentiful. We are a Ranch with 1 llama left and 3 alpacas all sweet, 1 horse and lots of kune kune pigs with a large organic garden and greenhouse. Work will include gardening, brush clearing, burning stumps, fertilizing cleared areas, planting grass seed, fencing, barn building.
Type of work: shoveling manure, picking up sticks, using tractor to till the land, planting, weeding, harvesting, fence building.
We ask for a 1 month commitment, We have 2 full wall tents, and a trailer. We expect workers to finish the job, kindness to animals and nature, no smoking. We have transportation. No pets. Children on approval. We speak English. We eat fresh from the garden, game meats which may include moose, caribou, fresh salmon, halibut and clams as well as farm fresh eggs from several beautiful chicks! Hope to see you soon.
