Description
We are Karin & Peter that live in Sunderbyn a small village near Luleå in Swedish Lapland. We are looking for cat loving people to house and petsit. Our home is in a calm suburb village with a secluded garden facing the forest and the wide Luleå river. Still only 20 min by car or bus to the town of Luleå. Or 7 min to beautiful Unesco site Gammelstad Churchtown. Our Siberian cat Sigge is very friendly and social and he live his best cat life in our home.

We will meet you for dinner and introduce you to our home and our cat. Give you a lot of tips of what to explore in the region and about our towns history. If we are away during your stay we will be in contact by phone and emails. We prefere English speaking and we are happy to also learn you some Swedish if you want. We are experienced homeexchangers since 20 years so we are used to cultural exchange and having guests in our home.

Aide
Housesitting and pet sitting, taking care of our cat and our water our plants in the garden. Maybe some small and easy painting task.

Hébergement
You will have access to all our home a 160 sqm villa with a secluded garden facing the woods and the river. We offer two bedrooms upstairs one with a 140 cm bed and one with a 90 cm bed. Bathroom with shower and bathtub and separate sauna. Big fully equipped kitchen and a large private sunny verandah.

Sunderbyn village and the town of Luleå is a perfect spot to discover the Bothnian coastal area of Swedish Lapland. You can take a tour boat to the islands of the archipelago, discover the Unesco site Gammelstads Churchtown and discover Sami culture, meet mooses and many other things.

Sigge (11 ans)
Our cat Sigge is of Siberian cat breed and he is a very social, cozy and friendly cat gentleman. He is a semi outdoor cat that always stays indoors during night. To avoid fights with the bad boys on the block. He needs to be fed 2 times per day and he has a automatic time scheduled cat flap door. He is not let out on his own without having his gps on so we know where he goes. He loves to sit on your lap and be cuddled and have his furry belly rubbed. The gps need to be charged every second night or so.
