  Description

  We are a small family of 3 living in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura. Right now, I’m mainly taking care of our 8-month-old baby, and my husband works giving tours on the island where he shares the beauty of the island with tourists.
  
  Puerto del Rosario is the capital of Fuerteventura with cafés, street art, and the sea always close by. From here you can easily take a bus to explore the island and travel to the north Corralejo, Cotillo, or to the south Caleta de Fuste, Costa Calma, Morro Jable and so on.

  Staying with us is a chance to experience the island lifestyle of the Canary Islands. You’ll share some meals and conversations with our family, get to know our daily routines, and explore the island in our car.
  
  We can share skills like cooking local dishes, tips for exploring the islands, or simple crafts and home activities. At the same time, we love learning from our guests.

  Aide

  We are looking for a gentle, friendly person to help around the house and spend some playful time with our baby.
  The help is light and relaxed — simple home tasks and sharing quality time at our apartment with our little one, so I can rest or focus on other things.
  
  We love doing tasks together whenever possible, and we enjoy exchanging skills and experiences — whether it’s cooking, sharing local tips about the islands, or learning from each other’s cultures.
  Our goal is to make you feel like part of our family while enjoying the relaxed island lifestyle together — sharing meals, good chats, and laughter.
  
  🕓 Hours & Type of Help
  
  We ask for 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
  Tasks include:
  • Sweeping and mopping the floor
  • Cleaning common areas
  • Doing laundry and taking out the trash
  • Keeping things tidy and in their place
  • Doing small shopping trips (like getting groceries at the supermarket nearby)
  • Playing with the 9 months old baby (she is very friendly and easy to play with)
  
  We’re clean and organized people, and our home is small with few things, so it’s easy to keep everything neat.
  
  🍲 Meals & Food
  
  I usually cook in the afternoon, and we eat around 6:00 PM, although it can be later if the day is beautiful and we spend more time outside ☀️
  I don’t cook every day, and we share meals together every now and then — depending on how the day goes. You’re welcome to use the kitchen anytime to prepare your own meals or snacks.
  
  🌐 Internet & Phone
  
  We have good and unlimited Wi-Fi, perfect if you need to work online, call family, or watch a movie. There are no restrictions on use.
  
  🚌 Transport & Location
  
  The main bus station is just 900 meters from home, with buses connecting to any part of the island.
  Puerto del Rosario is well located, so it’s easy to explore or go for day trips to the beaches, dunes, or mountains.
  
  👨‍👩‍👧 Accommodation Details
  
  At the moment we can host only one person.
  We cannot accommodate families, children, or pets for now.

  We offer a clean and secure private bedroom with a single bed and a window, along with a shared bathroom. Currently, there are three of us living here: mom, dad, and our 9-month-old baby.
  
  There is a kitchen available for you to use whenever the hosts are not cooking, and a living room where we can relax together.
