  Description

  Hi!! My name is Cata, I'm from Chile. My family and I are looking for help with house chores + taking care of our dogs, and cultural exchange.
  
  We can offer a room with one single bed and shared bathroom. Amenities include:
  •Unlimited food access (to what we buy, if you want anything extra, you have to buy it yourself!)
  •Smart TV in room, with streaming services (Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney, etc)
  •Wifi
  •Laundry machine & iron (no dryer)
  •Free parking lot
  •Heater (no air conditioner)
  You would be treated as a family member :) We are very welcoming people, as we have had a few exchange students in our house before.
  
  We live in a very safe, residential neighbourhood, with a supermarket, shopping mall and a bunch of parks nearby. Located in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.
  
  There are a lot of animals in our house, I have 3 dogs that are pretty big (very friendly) & I also foster quite frequently!! If you don't like dogs, this is NOT the place for you. Dogs rule this house hahahah. You'll need a bit of patience since most of the fosters are puppies, who may cry at night, and they don't know where to pee/poop.
  
  RULES:
  •No smoking inside the house, outside is fine.
  •Inviting friends over is okay, but under agreed conditions
  •We don't really have a lot of noise restrictions, as I'm pretty noisy myself (I listen to a lot of music) but there will be occassions when we ask for silence since my dad has work meetings once a week and sometimes works night shifts. (not often)
  •Clean up after yourself
  •No borrowing items that belong to others without permision.
  
  We need some serious help with house chores + walking our dogs (2-3 hoyrs a day, they're all well behaved)
  
  About us:
  I'm a 23 year old female, work sewing from home & study fashion design. I can speak Spanish, English & Korean! I can also handle a bit of german and i'm very interested in learning japanese.
  Parents are both doctors. My dad is 65, still works, my mom is 65 and a homeowner. Dad speaks spanish and english, mom speaks spanish and german.
  
  We'd be happy to give you tours around the city and we have a house near the beach in algarrobo, so we can go there too! :)

  We can teach you spanish, teach you how to cook chilean dishes and just share in general!! I'd love to show you around town and take you on tours (guided by me lol)
  I know some pretty good chilean food restaurants and beautiful locations we can visit! We can also travel to algarrobo, valparaiso and viña del mar, so you can meet there :) I'm mostly interested in learning languages and cuisine from your country!

  Aide

  As for dog walking, we can go together on most days :) Unless I have to be out all day, then you'd be on your own. We usually walk the dogs in pairs. I have 3 dogs of my own (Ddalgi, Kiwi and Kyle) and a foster dog (Ketchup). I foster often, so you'll be seeing a lot of different dogs!! Not all of them will be able to go on walks, since some are too young.
  
  As for housekeeping, we need indispensable help with cleaning the front yard daily, since the dogs poop/pee there 😭 Besides from that, you could do chores of your liking; 5 hours hours of work, 5 days a week.
  
  I'd be most comfortable if we help each other doing chores, rather than having you do everything by yourself!! at least in the beginning.

  Kiwi (3 ans)

  2-3 year old mutt, she gets scared easily and hides from people. she is very cuddly with me, but does not enjoy being touched by other people. not aggresive, just shy

  

  Dalgi (5 ans)

  5 year old american akita, very friendly and well behaved

  

  Kyle (12 ans)

  12 year old belgian shepard, loves to cuddle! Doesn't understand the concept of personal space, though very cute.
