Description
We have a country home with 15 horses, 2 dogs and 3 cats. We would like help on our small farm with housework, outdoor chores and there is an opportunity to ride as well. We have hosted for 7 years and really enjoy it. We are looking for preferably FEMALES please who have horse experience.

House in a beautiful country setting. The king size bed is in a large room. You will have your own bathroom with a shower and a bath. Shared laundry and shared kitchen. We have internet also.

We are 30 minutes to West Edmonton Mall. Edmonton is a large city with 1 million people. We have the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Alberta that are 3 hours away (Jasper, Alberta).

I stayed at Val and Roger's for just under 2 months (Februar/March), and I had such an amazing time whilst I was there. The family are so welcoming and I felt comfortable straight away.

This farm was my first experience with Workaway. I stayed with Val five weeks and had a very good time on this farm. I didn’t worked hard and had a lot of free time. I really enjoied the stay with Val and her family. The trail rides were always fun and they would also help me with my problems, especially Val. Thanks to Reg and Gammy, too, who took me fishing with them. Not to forget Thanksgiving, which I hadn't celebrated before, so it was a very special experience to me, thank you so much.
