    Description

We are a married couple, British and Zambian who recently moved from the city to a rural village after realising we preferred a much simpler, more fulfilling way of life. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 13 chickens & 30 goats. With the help of our new neighbours, we have built our farm house using mostly material from around the village. We shared our building story online and as a result, got a lot of requests from people wanting to come and visit us. So we built 4 rental cottages and have gotten so much support.

We are co-founders in a n education tech business so work from home most days.

we are currently employing 4 people. Mwamba, Jenny, Agness and Enoch. Enoch tends to the garden and animals, while Agness and Jenny help with housekeeping and running the cottages. Mwamba is. our trainee manager. Her role (with the help of Agness & Jenny) includes, welcoming guests, taking them on hikes, picnics and housekeeping.

We would love to have someone help to train our staff in hospitality and content creation for our social media. We are also looking for someone to help us train them how to grow and nurture our garden. (food & flowers). additionally, we have quite a few DIY projects at the moment, building, carpentry, etc.

Our cottages are 100% self-catering so you would not be required to serve food and drinks to guests. Work schedule is flexible and we would be happy to agree on something that works for both of us. You would probably have meals with us at dinner as its just easier, but you would have access to your own facilities if you need a break from us lol.

We are a team that are close and love music, dancing and cooking. often times, all three done at the sam time.if you would like to spend time with us, give us a shout!

As a member of our team, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of rural Zambian life while providing exceptional experiences to our guests. We live in a close-knit community village and are always learning from the community ourselves. The village is made up of mostly subsistence farmers and so we are learning from our neighbours how to build our own garden. this is something you would also be a part of.

During your time off, you can visit the Lower Zambezi National which is just about 50km from where we are. in our village we also have the historic leopards Hill Bat Caves. We love to have picnics on the Zambezi escarpment with our friends. We would provide a car for you to use to drive to the city or tourist sites.
