Description
At the moment we are looking for sociopaths dreamers :) that might want to LIVE here or stay for longer periods, that likes to be on his own, self-reliant, and also able to work with more people when needed(because maybe I'm here maybe im not, maybe i need a hand maybe not), has interest in gardening and farm life with the biggest respect for all living things.
Ideally a handyman/woman somewhat experienced with tools and so on (extra point for natural construction skills :) ) and/or that can help us around doing gardening, and farm routines.
Someone that maybe wants to move to Portugal, move here, or use it has a gateway or develop its own project while helping here.
Or SHORTER stays with kind of the same concept, 2 weeks minimum and eager to learn

You can feel yourself free and chill in our place, all nationalities, genders and brains are welcome. We are vegetarian, so we cook a lot of vegetable dishes basing on the Portuguese tradicional cousine, we would love to share veggie recipes and have a picnic together with volunteers. We respect any life style, but kindly asking not to cook meat in the house.
The most lovely thing you can get here is connecting with Nature, teaching how to take care of animals, learn about local plants and gardening, and of course try fresh bio fruits and vegetables from our garden.
Sometimes we have events and parties at our land, for volunteers the entrance is free.
As a local we know a lot of trails and secret spots at Arrabida parque, so be free to ask how to get there )
We speak Portugues-English-Spanish fluent, and will be happy to help you with your language practice.
Aide
we have a lot of dogs, goats, chicken, ducks, none of them to eat. We are mostly vegetarian.
We have fruit trees, small vegetable garden and a lot of free space where would be nice to start permacultura or forest garden project. So if you are experienced in this area, warmly welcome )
There are a lot of general farm tasks and maintenances as feeding animals, cleaning the space, watering, painting, gardening etc.
We ask for help around 5h/5 days per week, but you are free to change you schedule if you need. The rest of the day you are free to do what you want, we can advise you the best places to explore nearby, Arrábida Natural Park is ideal for outdoors as climbing, diving, surf, hiking, cycling, or just chilling at the beach.

We have a nice country house with a kitchen and big living room. sometimes shared bedroom in the house, sometimes a big bell tent, sometimes a caravan,
The house is fully equipped, hot shower, fireplace and internet.
There is also room for tents and caravans.
In the summer maybe you need to camp :)

We achieved new skills with Adobe building, went to friends of Hugo's, did a nice cave exploration, tried Portuguese fish, and had a great time with Hugo and the other Workawayers in the evening. Was nice to meet you all!

The work, painting and other work in the camping area, were really fun too and i learned a lot. The animals were super cool and you could always do something with them :)

I really enjoyed working there in the garden and also painting the apartement. Hugo gave us many tipps where we could go in the afternoon and sometimes we even did activities together.
