  UK national living in France, we have a large plot of land with an orchard, two houses, swimming pool area and cave. We need help with general gardening and maintenance in preparation for the summer.

  The Dordogne is a truly beautiful part of France which is well worth discovering. Apart from stunning countryside and gorgeous bastide towns, the depth of history here is extraordinary; from Cro Magnon man through the medieval times right through to the present. So if you are interested in history and visiting stunning chateaux and gardens, here is the place to be. Also, as we are both fluent in French and English, we can help to teach you and help you learn a new language.

  Aide

  We have a sizeable plot of land complete with an orchard, swimming pool area and a cave with which I need help getting it ready for the summer. It is general garden tasks looking after some of the heavier tasks such as cutting back brambles, moving logs and repositioning a raised vegetable plot. Also a small amount of maintenance, for example a fence needs repairing which I can't do myself. All the tasks needs to be done in our land to the front of the house and is not needed around the gite.

  We both speak fluent French and are willing to help where we can. English is our native language.

  Hébergement

  A separate house with two bedrooms - one a double with a king size bed, and the other with two single beds, living area with TV, log burner and a beautiful fully fitted kitchen. Outside there is a choice of three patios. By the pool we have a dining/barbecue area. We would invite you to join us for lunches and dinners, but if you prefer to self cater, then the kitchen is fully at your disposal. There is a washing machine for your use too. Internet connectivity is excellent via StarLink. There are some lovely walks and cycle routes on the doorstep.

  As mentioned above, there are a huge range of places to see and visit. The 17,000 year old caves at Lascaux, the stunning villages of Roque-Gageac, the medieval town of Sarlat, Perigueux, Bergerac and too many places to list. We live here on the property and both work which is why we need some help around the property.
  
  You will need transport as we are quite rural here and the nearest town, Le Bugue is fifteen minutes away.

  I have a small recording studio here as I work as a voice over artist. The internet connectivity is excellent as we have Starlink. There is a large dining table in the gite to work from. Also, the signal enables you to work from anywhere on the property - for example by the swimming pool
