Description
Our Story
We are a family of three: myself, my partner, and our 9-year-old son. Six years ago, we made a life-changing decision: we left the chaos of Turin to move to beautiful Sicily, chasing our dream of living in close harmony with nature.
We live a simple, authentic life. We practice homeschooling (unschooling) with our son, as we believe in the freedom of learning and respecting natural rhythms. Our home is a vibrant, ever-evolving ecosystem!
Our Project
Our property is constantly growing. Currently, we care for a large family of animals: horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. We lovingly tend to our olive grove, but our future plans are ambitious: we are designing a large orchard and a synergistic garden to become increasingly self-sufficient.
And because we love a good challenge, we have a very special project: a sailboat to renovate! If you have handy skills or a passion for the sea, you will definitely find your place here.

Siamo una famiglia di tre persone: io, il mio compagno e nostro figlio di 9 anni. Sei anni fa abbiamo preso una decisione che ci ha cambiato la vita: abbiamo lasciato il caos di Torino per trasferirci nella splendida Sicilia, inseguendo il sogno di vivere a stretto contatto con la natura.
Viviamo in modo semplice e autentico. Pratichiamo l'educazione parentale con nostro figlio, crediamo nella libertà di apprendimento e nel rispetto dei ritmi naturali. La nostra casa è un piccolo ecosistema vivace e sempre in movimento!
Il nostro progetto
La nostra proprietà è in continua evoluzione. Al momento ci prendiamo cura di una grande famiglia di animali: cavalli, cani, gatti e galline. Abbiamo un uliveto che curiamo con amore, ma i nostri progetti futuri sono ambiziosi: stiamo progettando un grande frutteto e un orto sinergico per diventare sempre più autosufficienti.
E per non farci mancare nulla, abbiamo una sfida speciale: una barca a vela da ristrutturare! Se hai manualità o passione per il mare, qui troverai pane per i tuoi denti.

What we offer
Beyond practical support, our home is a place for deep connection and sharing. We are happy to share our "back to the land" experience, our passion for cooking, and our daily life with the animals.
The Surroundings
Our home is strategically located for those who love history and adventure. We are surrounded by nature reserves and archaeological sites, as well as a magnificent spot with direct access to a local river.

Ci piacerebbe offrire la nostra esperienza di "ritorno alla terra", la nostra passione per la cucina e il contatto con gli animali.
La nostra casa si trova in una posizione strategica per chi ama la storia e l'avventura abbiamo Riserve Naturali e Siti Archeologici nei dintorni di casa, oltre ad un magnifico luogo con accesso al fiume.

We aren’t looking for "workers," but rather curious and motivated individuals who want to share a piece of their journey with us. We would love some help with:
Animals: Daily care and light maintenance of their living spaces.
The Land: Helping us prepare the soil for the orchard, harvesting olives, and tending to the garden.
The Boat: Support with fun restoration tasks (sanding, painting, and basic carpentry).
Cultural Exchange: Since we practice homeschooling, we love for our son to meet people from all over the world. It’s a great opportunity for him to practice different languages or learn new skills from you.

Non cerchiamo "lavoratori", ma persone curiose e volenterose che vogliano condividere un pezzetto di strada con noi. Avremmo bisogno di aiuto per:
Animali: Accudimento e piccole manutenzioni dei loro spazi.
Terra: Aiutarci a preparare il terreno per il frutteto, raccogliere le olive e curare l'orto.
Barca: Supporto nei lavori di restauro (carteggiatura, pittura, piccola carpenteria).
Scambio Culturale: Dato che facciamo educazione parentale, ci piace che nostro figlio conosca persone da tutto il mondo per praticare lingue diverse o imparare nuove abilità.

Hébergement
We provide our volunteers with an independent studio apartment with a private bathroom. You will have your own privacy and space to unwind after outdoor activities. It is the perfect solution for those seeking a balance between community life and moments of quiet.
Shared Spaces and Connectivity:
Kitchen: The kitchen is the heart of our home and is a shared space. We love cooking and eating together, exchanging stories and flavors, but you will have full freedom to prepare your own meals whenever you prefer.
Internet: We have a reliable Wi-Fi connection. If you are a remote worker or a digital nomad, you will be able to manage your online tasks without any issues during your free time.

Transport: Our location is beautiful and rural. If you don't have your own car, please consider that getting around requires some planning. We are happy to help with rides when possible, but having your own wheels is recommended if you wish to explore daily.
