With Alek we started our adventure with workaway and it was the best possible start. Alek has a very nice character, he is nice, helpful and calm. He was open to new acquaintances, curious about the culture and the Polish language.

… read more inviting to all outdoor activities and we did it. Alek was amazing, he cooked a lot and quickly found an understanding with my sons and the rest of the family, and he met here probably 100 people :) Thanks, Alek for this time. I hope to see you in our home, maybe with your sister.

This was my first work away and I’m so glad I went. Monika and Cyprian were super nice and welcoming and they have 3 very bright boys. I enjoyed getting to know them all and I had fun spending time with the boys. It felt like I was hanging out with my younger cousins. Time passed quickly with bike rides, paddle boarding, barbecues, and board games
… read more and I stayed a couple of days longer than we originally planned. I slept in a large, comfortable room in the basement with a private bathroom. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a picturesque lake and many biking trails nearby. I prepared my own breakfasts and cooked dinners for myself and the boys. The kitchen was always stocked with what I needed. I highly recommend staying here if you want to get to know an amazing family and see one of the best cities in Poland. From our perspective, it was a very interesting time with Francois. Everyone in our family liked him very much. We spent a lot of time talking, cooking and visiting a lot places and having a lot of fun. Francois played board games with my boys and cooked with them a lot. It was the pre-Christmas
… read more period, so we also went to Polish Christmas markets. We tried to show him as much as possible from the Polish cuisine, tradition and culture, Francois brought a lot from the German and French sides. His delicious French-style dishes will forever remain in our memories. We are in touch and we will probably be able to meet again. All the best, Francois!

It was an incredible time at Monika's and Cyprian's place ! I only stayed one week, but would have loved to stay longer ! The whole family was super nice and very welcoming !

The room in the basement where I slept was also very big and comfortable, and I had my own bathroom just next door !
