This was one of the best experiences I've ever had doing a Workaway, the family was so nice and helpful and always made me feel part of their world.
We did a lot of great things such as visiting Quebec City and Montreal as well as going on things like Ski Lifts.

Thank you Véro, Alex, Éméric, Sébastien, and Alice for almost two great months at your place! I learned so much during my stay with you! My English and French really improved (the kids are very eager to help you understand if you don't know a word and Alex and Véro helped me a lot with correcting my homework and interrogating me - a big thank you
… read more for that! :-) ) , I saw a lot of Québéc and that was only possible because Alex and Véro created kind of a exploring-tour-plan for me and drove with me to all these wonderful places and I got to know many many culinaric delicacies as well of traditions of Québéc. If you are reading this and you want to explore Québéc, learn or improve your English or French while staying with a family who treats you more like a family member than a workawayer - I highly recommend you this one! They will do everything to comfort you and to show you as much as possible! I stayed with them over Christmas and New Year's and they took me with them to their family and their friends who are all very nice and welcoming. You can have great conversations with Alex and Véro, they are so understanding and open to everything. All in all - I had a great time with them and I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to stay with them.

Thank you to the Family for hosting me for a little under a month. Alex and Vero really made me feel at home and they are such good cooks too! They were very accommodating to my vegetarian diet and even introduced me to gourmet poutine. Even though I spoke very little french, they were very patient with me in helping me learn the language.

I had a great time while staying 5 weeks with Alex, Véro, Emeric, Alice, Sebastien and the three cats!! First time sushi and laser tag and playing many new games. Even though it was still snowing in April we had a lot of fun and even went to the park sometimes and visited Montreal and Quebec. I'm really happy that I had the chance to speak a
… read more little French again and everybody was so nice and open when I met their families and friends! The work was fun and not much at all, just doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen and some painting wich I liked a lot.
Vero and Alex, thank you so much for your hospitality especially while I was sick!! Even though I couldn't work for one week you helped me, prepared smoothies and even drove me to the clinic, thank you so much for that!!

We had a great time with Jenny. She helped us a lot with house tasks during her staying (cleaning, painting, help with cooking, etc.). She has a very nice personality, fast learner and is very diligent in the tasks assigned.

Alex and Vero are really nice! They hosted me for 3 months and i had the opportunity to experiment the real Quebec lifestyle and we visited some places together. The kids taught me to play new games and we shared many time playing them even if i don't speak french but we did our best to communicate .

A lot of conversation, games, french, jokes, fun and much more!!! This motivated me to do it again in the future to other place in the world. Juan Carlos is very nice and kind. He is an easy going person and very pleasant to discuss with.
We hosted him for 3 months. He was very helpful in the house and the work is always well done.
The kids liked him a lot even if they don't really speak English. Juan was always willing to entertained the kids, playing card games or board games
