  Description

  Since you're already here, I'd take some time and attention to tell you our story and plans.
  In the summer of 2022, we, that was Eva, Valentin and our dog Schlumpermann, finally made our way out of this flickering present time to find out what the world can feel like in its self-evidence.
  Shortly before the end of the world, we got stuck in a big house with a small village, nestled in a picturesque valley.
  Our original impulse came from the distress of modern developments...especially for artists and other permeable beings!
  Since we've been here, everything has changed, but we'd better talk about that over a nettle tea in the attic!
  
  A year later we find ourselves again, as a young couple, a learning and experiencing one.
  Listening has taken on a whole new meaning! Anyone who just wants to come and listen to how the clouds pass by, how the magpies scream, how the cows eat meadow and how a loaf of bread rises in the oven is invited. But so that you don't get bored here we also have many tasks to drive a slow transformation. From an old over-managed piece of land to a presentable solution of holistic transformation.
  That's more or less the plan.
  
  Our goal is to create a place of connection with other places that work independently - spread all over Europe, and establish a connection between us and the world. Several workshops are to be created, workplaces for painters, sculptors, writers, dancers and everything in between.
  We also think about our food resource for the future and always like to experiment with the latest approaches. Fungi Farming, Food Forest, Syntropic, Symbiosis - if you can relate to these keywords, then come and visit us!
  
  In concrete terms, we need independent, interested and attentive people who like to be on the move in a somewhat deeper layer of aliveness!

  We often have friends over, also from the country surrounding, its easy to meet new people and get in contact with new ways of living and cultural changes. We enjoy to travel in a way that the world is coming to your home and not you being the one traveling all over the place :)
  
  Also we are always interested in the developments that are going on in the world, the latest turns of scientific as well as poetic and philosophical knowledge are an ever-present theme. We also want to give as much space as possible to the artistic deepening and the immersion in a profound existence with all our decisions.

  Aide

  Day-to-day tasks include keeping the house tidy, sharing in the preparation of meals, looking after the animals (chickens, dog and cat) and daily visits to the garden.
  
  Otherwise there are 3 big Jobs we would need help for.
  
  1. RENOVATION AND CONSTRUCTION of the old sheds into living spaces and artists quarters.
  Tasks like: building a shower/sauna house, compost toilet, greenhouse, interior design pieces ;) . For these jobs, we would be happy to have people with experience in alternative building. That means building with recycled materials like glass bottles (we would like to make a dome out of glass bottles over the shower house), tires, old windows, stone, wood and clay from the region, and so on...
  And if anybody is an expert with ROCKETMASSHEATERs Please get in contact!
  
  2. GARDENING, MOWING AND GROWING
  We transform our giant slope pasture into a flourishing forest Garden with big terraces. That means building up soil, digging in the good old Ground, also lot of mowing! and of course satisfying harvest and collection times!
  
  3. HOUSE AND ANIMAL SITTING
  If you enjoy some nice time with animals in a remote area by yourself, and you are a reliable, honest and fair Person come and spend some time with our cats, chicken, dog and horses!
  We are always happy to have some time off :)

  Hébergement

  The main house has a modern bathroom, equipped kitchen, and four private rooms (two of which are in use). You get your own room and can move around freely. We live like in a classic flat share. But its also an option to put your tent in the garden and create your own space. We typically cook together in the evening, breakfast and dinner are free for everybody to eat when and whatever you want.
  That's because its important for us to have space to be able to withdraw undisturbed to work on our own projects. For example, writing a book, building a lamp, sewing the latest Hinterland fashion or simply reading. So, it's good if you like to spend some time on your own sometimes. We usually go shopping every two weeks, you can either come with us and walk around the city or stay at home.
  
  Otherwise, it's like living in your own flat, we keep the kitchen and bathroom clean, and you can do whatever you want in your room. The garden and the village square are there for everyone.

  Autres infos...

  We live here 15 km from the coast but, as usual for Asturias, already in a mountainous region. Our valley has a lot to offer! Three horses and three cows live here, you can walk for hours through the countryside and around every corner there is a view of the sea.
  So, if you like hiking, or just enjoy a day off in the garden or forest, this is the place for you!
  
  From time to time, we make a trip to the beach, to town, or to friends' houses – you’re welcome to join! Weekly trips to the beach with our surf addict Julian are included in May and June.

  We ourselves also work partly on the internet. Most of the time it works quite well. But if you need super fast and smooth internet, we are not the right place.

  We have a dog (male), wild chickens and a small cat. We welcome workawayers with a relaxed dog/cat that knows the rules of the garden and is friendly with other animals.
