We are educators based in Singapore running a micro school, following alternative schooling to a rural community in Kerala, India. We are looking for help to assist us with our various projects and the lessons in the classrooms.

You will be able to work with local parents and teachers in Kerala, India. Stay with us, learn basic south Indian cooking skills, a bit of yoga and experience local cultural festivals and c h a o s.

We are looking for volunteers to enhance our small community school. This is Primary school. Kids are full of kinetic energy.
If you are keen to work in early childhood education, able to teach sustainability values, social skills, communication skills, life skills, IT skills, English language, speech and drama, build an Eco-friendly playground....

Hébergement
Stay on the 2nd floor of our school. A spacious room, lots of fresh air and quiet mornings and evenings. Know we provide simple meals, rice and coconut-based curries is what Kerala is all about.
Autres infos...
Free Internet. Transport can be arranged with driver (at volunteer's expenses) for your sightseeing trips otherwise public buses run to town from a 3-minute walk bus stand. Lots of opportunities to take part in local festivals and events (now limited). If you stay for more than a month, we will arrange a kayak trip in our local nearby backwaters. Bicycles and a motorbike can be arranged for rent for local mobility. We have a small kitchen/pantry for you to fix your meals when you feel like it.
