  🌟 English Speaker Wanted for a Cultural & Language Exchange in Rome! 🌟
  
  Hello!
  
  My name is Ilaria, and I live in Rome, one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world. I work as a public servant for the Italian government and, before that, I practised law. I have always loved languages, travelling, meeting people from different cultures, and engaging in meaningful conversations.
  
  I am looking for a native English speaker (or someone with an excellent C1–C2 level of English) who would like to stay with me for at least one month from September onwards. Longer stays are very welcome.
  
  My main goal is to improve my spoken English through natural daily interaction, both in everyday and professional contexts. Therefore, I am looking for someone who enjoys conversation, cultural exchange, and sharing ideas and experiences.
  
  I have no preference regarding gender, age, nationality, or background. What matters most to me is an excellent command of English, a positive attitude, good communication skills, open-mindedness, reliability, and a genuine interest in cultural exchange.
  
  I would particularly appreciate hosting someone with a good educational and cultural background, who enjoys discussing a wide range of topics such as culture, literature, history, current affairs, travel, languages, and international perspectives. Intellectual curiosity and mutual respect are qualities I value greatly.
  
  One thing that would make this experience even more enjoyable is hosting someone who likes sports or outdoor activities. I am not naturally sporty myself, but I would love to become more active and get back into shape. It would be wonderful to go for walks, jogging sessions, or other outdoor activities together in one of the parks nearby or along the beautiful Tiber River.
  
  A note about my schedule: from Tuesday to Friday I am usually out during the day because of work and often return home late in the evening, unless I have work-related dinners. For this reason, this experience is best suited to someone independent and self-sufficient, who is happy to organise their own time and explore Rome while I am working.
  
  We will usually be able to share breakfast and dinner together, while lunch will generally be on your own as I am away for work.
  
  🏡 Accommodation
  
  I offer accommodation in my home, which is located in a very convenient area of Rome, approximately 1 km from Trastevere and 2 km from the Vatican. Several bus and tram lines stop directly outside the building, making it easy to reach all parts of the city.
  
  The accommodation consists of either:
  • a single bed, or
  • a comfortable double sofa bed located in the shared living room/kitchen area.
  
  The bathroom is shared with me.
  
  The apartment includes:
  ✔ Wi-Fi
  ✔ TV
  ✔ Fully equipped kitchen
  ✔ Excellent public transport connections
  ✔ Easy access to the historic centre and many of Rome’s main attractions
  
  Please note that this is not luxury accommodation, but a welcoming and respectful home environment where the focus is on language practice, cultural exchange, and experiencing everyday Roman life.
  
  In return, I offer:

  I work a lot, so you'll generally be free to do whatever you want in Rome from morning until late afternoon, or help me with the housework. When I get home, we'll chat in English and explore Rome together. On weekends, we'll also explore the surrounding area! You'll be my friend, welcome to events and my daily life with friends!

  I’m currently looking to improve my spoken English, especially in casual and professional conversation. I’d love to host a Workawayer who is a native English speaker or has a C1–C2 level, to stay with me during the month of August and other for a relaxed language and cultural exchange.
  
  There’s no heavy work involved—just daily conversation practice, maybe some informal guidance or correction, and shared time together. In exchange, I offer a comfortable stay in Rome, delicious home-cooked meals, and a chance to experience local life in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
  
  This would suit someone independent who wants to enjoy Rome in the summer, while helping me gain confidence and fluency in English. If you enjoy good conversation, cultural exchange, and Italian hospitality—I’d be happy to host you!

  You will have access to a spacious living room/kitchen area with a comfortable double sofa bed with a high memory foam mattress, a TV, and air conditioning. I live alone in the house, and we will share the bathroom, so maximum cleanliness and order, along with mutual respect, are essential!
