Help looking after my plants and pets as well as assisting with daily life in Granada, Spain

  Description

  In the centre of Andalucia ,we bought a house and filled in with furniture, interior design, but most of all plants and rescue cats. The Mum and the two children now live in the cntre of Jaen and so the location of this workaway is on the hill above the river Gyadalbullón in a private 4 bedroom house with a shared main garden and a large swimming pool.

  As a qualified and experienced teacher of languages , there is an opprtunity to learn either english or spanish . then to practice out and about in Granada. I work also as an artist so there can be opprtunities to help on mural projects and general painting of pictures on various surfaces. During the summer months there will also be opprtunites for snorkelling in the mediterranean sea. Finally as an enthisaistic cook there is a kitchen-garden that has a gardener who provides some of the fresh ingredients to add to local dishes as well as international dishes susch as indian and moroccan cuisine.

  Aide

  The main part of this workaway involves having a full driving licence to drive to and from Granada and also the coastal towns of Granada province. then up to five hours per week helping to keep the house , garden and pool in conditions. No business help, just my private house.
  
  
  El parte mayor de este workawayer será chófer, distancias cortas o menos de 100 km , entones un carnet de conducir es obligatorio. Y además, hasta 5 horas semanales manteniendo la casa y jardín / piscina en condiciones limpias . Nada de negocio solo mi casa privada .
  
  Using my car the workawayer will drive me to various places under 80 miles away . In some cases waiting and free to get to know the city of Granada, and others where a return to the home to do as they wish . Around 4-5 hours general cleaning around the house and pool and garden will be the only other help . Utilizando mi coche privado y libertad después aparcar a conocer la ciudad de Granada hasta que vuelvo - puedes ser 5-6 horas . Mientras en dia plazos menos larga , la habilidad de volver a casa y regresar a recogerme .
  The reason for this is to get rid of the points on my driving licence- which needs a couple of years with zero infractions- then I back to nought . El razon por este situación es volver a mis puntos en zero cual significa que no conducir yo .
  The car is a 2012 VW Golf Cabrio . Manual . I will pay all petrol and car costs.

  Looking after the plants and cats is part of this so the workawayer will need a full driving licence and be into art , plants and cats.

  Hébergement

  Private house in the middle of a set of three houses with a large top terrace with spectacular views , a ground floor terrace with many plants and a dining area . A small rear patio also filled with plants where a new mural is set to be done. Then a large living room with a huge ceiing fan and ample settee space , leading to the kitchen.
  
  Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms , 3 small bedrooms , all with windows, a modern bathroom and a spacious terrace with views over the garden and the valley and Jabalcuz mountain. One of the small bedrooms will be private for the workawayer . A large shared garden (between the 3 houses ) with amazing views and a long deep at one end swimming pool. Then each house has their private kitchen-garden plus a large seperate shared garage up at street level . This will be our third summer here. The town of Jaen is three minutes away and Granada is forty minutes. Granada coast about a 100 minutes drive.
  
  The fridge will be stocked with a range of breakfast things that the workawayer likes and help him/ herself.
  If I am at home I’ll cook a lunch , probably most days . Then evening will be similar to breakfast but with different things available in the fridge and cupboards. We have a kitchen garden that gives a range of fresh fruit & veg too

  Autres infos...

  Spending free time around the city of Granada is the most common , but also in towns and coves along the Andalucian coast. All by private (convertible) car, The Great Mosque in Cordoba will also be visited at least once. Trips to Cadiz and natural marine park Cabo de Gata will involve booking and paying for overnight accomodation due to the distances involved.
