Arkadiuz welcomed us and showed us the Polish specialties (a special mention to the soups, which by the way, are delicious!). We were also lucky enough to taste the homemade pierogi 🥟 made by his mom! As for our tasks, we mainly took care of cutting and organizing wood since it was winter time.

… read more couple. quand il s'agit du sejour chezmoi, je dois dire qu'ils ne sont étrangers à aucun travail et que vous pouvez compter sur leur aide. En plus, Natalie fait une merveilleuse mousse au chocolat. Je les embrasse chaleureusement et j'espère qu'un jour ma maison sera encore une fois sur le chemin de leur voyage. Punk's not dead! :)

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Arek. Sa maison est située dans un petit village très tranquille au coeur de la Pologne. Arek nous a reçu avec beaucoup de joie et de simplicité. Il y a un beau potager, des poules, une chienne et une minette . L'endroit est calme, près d'un bois où chantent plein d'oiseaux. Les tâches se font au jour le jour
… read more selon les besoins dans la bonne humeur et la détente. Arek nous a préparé d'excellents repas végétariens polonais et nous a fait découvrir la vie de son association. I don't know how it is, but I'm damn lucky to have fantastic workaway people. Daniel is a young man, very communicative, willing to learn many things, very hard-working, and I must say that he came at a time when I brought wood from the forest and there was an awful lot of chopping and stacking, which he did very effectively. It proves that he is

Spending time with him outside of work is pure pleasure, even though the weather in Poland is not great at the beginning of March, anyway I recommend this guy 100%, as soon as he contacts you, invite him to your house.
And one more very important thing, after leaving, he did an amazing order in his place of residence.
Good luck Daniel in your future travels and I hope that we will see each other again someday. You are always welcome in Załęże.Feedback

… read more être agréable et rendre plus heureux. Ils ont aidé à la maison, en cuisine, dans le champ et le jardin. Fidéline adore les animaux,elle manque tellement à ma chienne. Je recommande ce couple de tout mon cœur.

We spent 10 incredible days in Zaleze at Arek's place! Discovering the life of a small Polish village, traditional dishes, meeting people, living in harmony with nature, all the experiences we had during these ten days were refreshing and enriching. Arek really invests in enabling his guests to discover the region and Polish culture (mushroom picking, traditional cuisine, meeting locals, discovering regional plants, country walks, etc.). We enjoyed chatting with Arek and sharing a bit of our lives! Arek's company is particularly pleasant. The two weeks with Arkadiusz were intense, in a very good way! There were a lot of things to learn and discover, especially if you are interested in herbs and polish culture.
Maybe it's not the "traditional" polish country side setting but you get the possibility to join Arkadiusz with his daily life and tasks, meet his friends, family and
… read more neighbours and get a whole lot of contact with locals.
My favourites: Daily "Tea-lessons" (pick some herbs from the garden for the morning tea), selling eggs at the eco-farmers market in Czestochowa (this was crazy but first of all fun :), spending some days with his mother (wholesome lady) and for sure the coffee brakes with Arkadiusz and Zdziezek (i hope i write this right ;).
The food was amazing, you get to know traditional polish (veggie-) kitchen! The work was always changing, never boring and never with pressure, Arkadiusz was easy going on that as on a lot of other things. I always enjoyed his company and when i needed my space, it was no problem in taking it. Whenever possible, Arkadiusz was eager to help me with my travell plans and equipment. I hope i will return some other day and some other season, so i can get a taste of the fresh tomatoes planted ;)

It's hard to describe in a few words such a nice guy. In Polish they say porządny chłopak. Honest, hardworking, paying attention to all the details of someone's life. It was really two weeks with many adventures, many experiences, new things. I would add one thing, he spent five days with my mother without being able to communicate. It's amazing
