Spending time with Alice & Fergus was such a wonderful and culturally inspiring experience!
Our main tasks were mucking out and cleaning the sheds, as well as preparing a huge bonfire for Saint John’s Day. On another day, we also worked in the garden and helped with painting and some other jobs.
After our working hours, they showed us so many
… read more beautiful places in the area – something we truly didn’t take for granted!
I still have such fond memories of our lovely beach picnic on Omey Island :)
We laughed so much together and we miss you already.
Thank you for creating yet another amazing Ireland experience for us.

This was our first experience of Workaway, but my goodness it was amazing , we are afraid to try again as it couldn’t live up to our now ,expectations,!!! Retail and Mike were a joy to have from the moment we met them. Both he very good English , Reeta was excellent, they were friendly , relaxed and full of fun . We managed to do a lot of work
… read more around the house on our refurbishing project, we had Thatched the roof and Miika helped Fergus to clear the old reeds , Reeta helped with wood which was removed and prepared it for burning, they did lots of gardening and some painting. Both are great cooks, Maiika an amazing chef , so we were spoiled with evening meals to die for. The weather was not great but we did have a few lovely walks, we introduced them to some friends and they were loved by all. We loved having Reeta and Miika , we had great chats and feel we made life long friends.
Their work ethic is fantastic but mostly they are two lovely people and will achieve all their goals in life.

We spent a few weeks with Alice and Fergus last fall. We had such a great time helping with gardening, painting, moving things, etc. The house itself is magical and its location by the sea is amazing! Fergus and Alice are great host and we were treated like friends from day one. In our free time, we took wonderful walks in the neighborhood and
… read more cooked lovely dinners together in the evenings. We also had the opportunity to stay with them in Dublin for a few days. We highly recommend these hosts.Feedback
