    Description

Hello future friends. Welcome to our page. We are a happy, conscious couple. We are both originally from the UK, met in Sydney many moons later and moved in April last year, to live in nature's paradise, on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Our names are Lisa and James and we live on a 2 and a half acre parcel of land. It is home to an abundance of birdlife and marsupials roaming freely as they feed and enjoy the 200+ mature colourful shrubs and trees. Our intention is to continue adding to the diversity, improving the top soil for the land to flourish here and creating a sanctuary of health and wellbeing for all who visit. We are also on a deep learning journey working with biodynamic principles, soil regeneration, permaculture practices to nourish and align with nature. We have a healing space with wood fired sauna, natural eco pool, ice bath in the summer, a pyramid to sit and meditate in, a tree tent, and a 3 person hammock. Plus a chill space with a table tennis table to play and relax in. We also regularly offer yoga, breathwork and a deepening into knowing your true nature for those that are on a spiritual path. This is no ordinary farm stay and as such we are selective. If you are hard working and want to help us in our sustainability goals of food generation and supporting the flourishing of all life including your own then come be a part of something magical.

We have had friends and workaways help us create a terraced garden around our natural eco system pool, build and fill 15 raised garden beds for organic food sufficiency, plant a native bush food hedge, prune hedges, collect wood, build
paths, make soil and weeding. To keep the space beautiful requires many hands and we would love it if you feel called to contribute as part of your travels.

Our request is to host a couple. Two friends if they are comfortable sharing a double bed and even 3 people with one person sleeping in the tree tent.

We have a self contained bus with cooker and fridge, shower/toilet, comfy double bed, internet and cosy living space, suitable for an intimate couple to stay with us. We’ll supply simple and healthy breakfast ingredients and tea supplies for you to help yourself 7 days a week in the luxury converted bus. We’ll gather for a tasty dinner in the main house 5 days a week. Cafes and supermarkets are just 10 mins away for extra snacks and lunch. The exchange is 22 hours of help with land projects per week, typically 8am - 12pm ish over 5 days of a 7 night stay, but we can discuss. It could be 3 hours each day too. You will need your own transport to get here and to enjoy this beautiful part of Australia.

We look forward to hear from you if this sounds like something you want to add to your adventures.

We have been on our own learning journey including biodynamic principles, aligning with the lunar cycles, permaculture practices, and regenerative agriculture to be in harmony with the land. We are happy to share what we know and our learning.

We also offer regular yoga classes, breath work, conscious communication, and the Gene Keys, which will help with finding your purpose, improving relationships and prosperity.

There is also an illusion of being a away from civilization, the hustle and bustle. Everyone who visits here feels the benefit of the serenity here and yet we are only 10 minutes from the coast, shops, cinema, cafes, safe swimming beaches, river walks and surfing beaches.

If you love nature there is a lot to enjoy at our home with beautiful trees, shrubs and an array of wildlife that visit our property every day. There is plenty to learn about Australian nature here.

Our local pristine beaches and so many beautiful coastal walks are only 10 mins away. Dolphins have been sighted often, surfing the waves close to shore. Inland from us are some of the oldest rainforests in the world, which are magical to visit with waterfalls and ancient trees.

It’s a very special place and we look forward to meeting you.

The beaches are stunning in this area. Nambucca Heads has both river walks and a gentle bay. 5 mins further up the coast is an open ocean beach for your surfing pleasure.

Bellingen is a beautiful country town well worth a visit and the monthly markets are definitely worth a visit.

We do freestyle dance there every Friday. This is called 5 Rhythms if you have ever heard of it. We can go together if it appeals or if you want to give it a go.
Dorrigo rainforest walk has a waterfall you can walk underneath. This area is truly spectacular. This is an easy day trip on your day off.

Both Nambucca Heads and Macksville are 10 mins away by car. Both have nice cafes to eat at if you don't want to drive further afield on your time off. You will need a car to get to us and explore the area.
