Description
Hey fellow planetarians. I'm Xavier and have a regular existence of 32 years here now. I started out as a seed, went for Graphic Designer and nowadays fill my days with firefighting and being. As for a future view. I would love to open a place of meaning. A place for coming and going. For people who love life, for people that struggle life, for eco constructions and for gaining garden productions. I've been to nice places, met lovely people and can only hope to match this in future. Interest are being in balance, being outdoors and try to enjoy. Why Workaway? No better way than local goes traveller. Get other tastes, hear different views and share the wealth that's there.

Aide
3 years ago, I've bought a house to learn some construction skills. Moved from a desk to hand labor. Most of it is finished but as unlogic as it is. There's a pool at the small inner courtyard from the house. As for this moment, the pool is a traditional one with addition of Chlorine. I would like to transform this in to a natural filter installation. Even more nice would be to have the pool also being used as a water buffer for the whole house ( showering, small toilets, ...). For the pool itself I'm thinking of the following: Helofyten filter, natural filter, plant filter, aquaponics, swamp filter, straw filter
It would ne nice If there would be workawayers that want to participate in such a project as this. Also if you just want to hang around, explore the city of (ghent) or want to do something else, you are always welcome !

Hébergement
I can offer a room with 1 bed or with double bed. We share the house. Kitchen and living room, bathroom, pool and workhouse. We share the cat as well. Her name is Roxy. She's adopted.
I live on 8 kilometers of the big city Ghent. A very nice place to hangout and still a pearl being skipped by many travellers passing Brussels to Bruge.

He has a particular work timetable, so you might be alone at home some days.
By the time I am an architect I helped him to build a beautiful platform above the swimming pool!
They were very flexible with the working hours.
The tasks were mainly helping with sanding and making a new furniture for the bedroom.
We enjoyed all the time and conversations we spent… read more
