Description
I live in a small seaside town in an out of the way road but still close to all facilities. I have a big section that has a lot of lawns to mow and gardens to look after. Would be interested in exchanging language and cultural differences as well as getting help with the property. We have a beautiful surf beach and separate estuary with lots of tracks through the region. There are 2 push bikes available for exploring the area. I have a lovable dog, Marshall, who loves being taken to the beach to play with his fellow canines or just walked but definitely played with.

I have 2 push bikes available or else can drop them off to a destination in the region.

There is a double and single bed in the mezzanine with views to the sea in the front and mountains to the back. I will supply food but would love it if we could share the cooking.

Sander was a delight to host. Very unassuming but very keen and able to see to all tasks needed. Quite a variety from gardening, doing lawns, ironing, vacuuming and taking care of my dog Marshall. Margaret took me in last-minute and let me stay for 10 days. I'm really grateful for it! I had an amazing time in Mangawhai, which is a cozy little town. Our stay with Margaret was amazing from start to finish. Even before we arrived, we were in contact wit each other via Whatsapp and able to coordinate our arrival with ease. It was unfortunate I was quite ill when Simon and Emma-arrived.
This made it difficult to fully describe tasks that were needed along with the language differences. However, they were still able to help out a lot with exercising my dog, mowing lawns, housework and cooking .

Luca was new to Workaway and initially did not realise his initiative was important. Being only 18 we were surprised at his maturity.

Hosts were very very sweet, let me use bike for transportation whenever I needed to go to the local town and beach. They have a lovely home and cook great food.
