Description
After many years of living with guests from workaway I still wait for every new helper with great confidence: Interesting people from all over the world are enriching my life and help me with the work on the farm. A lot of them became friends and we still stay in touch. I could teach them how to live and work with horses, live out of the own garden and a lot of them tried the linedancing. They brought me the knowlegde about life in their country and I learned plenty of new recepies so I now have a special cookbook. I also met many super talented musicians, painters, and helpers with my computer tasks!
So if you look for a familylike place with an international touch (I speak german, english and french), and you are not allergic to dogs, cats, chicken, hay or horses in an amazing landscape and most beautiful sunrises you will be welcomed!
We are preparing an open air Theater play for children in the moment (9th of may ) and could need musical talents also.

You will meet many people while living with us and following me around to the daily work, the special events and meet the riding clients. If you want you can learn a lot about vegetable gardening, international cooking, horses, and I speak german, english and french fluently. I am a line dance freak. You could learn more about your own capabilities by working with manual tools.

The cooking is not vegetarian, but few meat is part of the meals. Vegetables and fruit is mostly our own products or comes from regional farmers. No vegans please.

J'ai bien aimé l'ambiance du centre équestre et des autres Workaways. Il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter dans le coin et pas mal de tour à vélo à faire.

Well, what can I say about this magnificent place, all the comments here are true, Elke is an extraordinary person with whom you can talk about any topic, learn from her experience, listen to her stories, dance and eat delicious every day, especially in the nights. I stay in Elke's farm for two months, her horses are very lovely and the nature surrounding is so beautiful, and sometimes you can see the wild deers in the woods!! I have the most relaxing time while staying here
it is a nice place to get away from the city and been surrounded by forest
The work in the place is not hard
After work you will have plenty of time to do what you like

I only visited for the weekend, and this was my first experience as a “work-awayer”. However, I felt very welcomed at Elke’s place and thoroughly enjoyed spending a few days on the farm. The people and the animals were lovely, and I had my first experience of line-dancing (a regular Friday-night event I believe).

I absolutely loved this place! Elke and her family are so lovely and friendly and they have such great friends who are all so friendly and helpful. I stayed here for 3 weeks. I stayed there for trhee weeks last cristmas.
Elke is the best host I have ever had, the yard is wonderful, horses are good boys and work is easy to do.

A great place to be a part of! Everyone around is warm, welcoming, and down to earth. The location is pleasant, the accomodation is super, and the work is very reasonable and somewhat flexible. I am a vegan, so fed myself, so can't comment on elke's cooking. ;)
