Description
Hello Wonderful travellers, we have become empty nesters ~ our two children in their 20’s have flown the coupe! We have always enjoyed sharing our space with visitor's, exchange students etc and considered this was a lovely way to continue to host and provide visitors with fabulous kiwi hospitality. We are on a small rural lifestyle only minutes from the best beaches Tauranga has to offer. Lots of gardens, bird life and beautiful sun sets!
We do have two fur babies (Cats)… and chickens … and are surrounded by farms with lots of fabulous farm life.

We are a genuine kiwi family, and you’ll get to experience a rural life style at its best! We love food, fun, family and friends…. But are just has happy practicing yoga, crafting or reading a book!

We have a large home, and you would have a very big bedroom that includes queen bed & room to relax privately. Separate bathroom is part of main house, (soley yours unless other guests are staying with us). …. We are happy to provide main meal, but would also welcome the experience of sharing in your cuisine.

We do have a spot available on the farm, but would need to be self contained van. Water is available and grey waste can be dumped at local station in Maleme Street, Greeton (approx 10 min down road)

We adored sharing our home with Lucy! She has a fantastically cheerful & immensely adventurous spirit and our time socialising was very special! She’s a self starter, well organised worker and not afraid of heavy lifting. Highly recommended hosting Lucy!

What a wonderful exchange! Florian exceeded all expectations- such a hard worker, great company, wonderfully respectful young man … & (unfortunately for me) a great cards player! I am 100% certain he will take many fantastic memories home with him … & we hope we make the slideshow …

Santi and Vicki, were AMAZING! Such beautiful happy people to be surrounded by. Their work in the garden was outstanding- such hard workers, tackling to big jobs with enthusiasm (& great music!). we are very lucky to have started our journey with them. They have made us feel at home at all times.

Luke was a fantastic ambassador for his country, and home towns! We so enjoyed his company and his passion to embrace the DIY, kiwi can do attitude (& local slang!)! Tasked with the tough job of removing some flaxes, he has earned bragging rights to forever be known as the “flax slayer”!
