Description
English version
Hello, friends!
We are a passionate family committed to regenerating the land: Joan (35), Clara (34), Atai (7), and Indiana (5). Since 2016, we’ve grown and learned by living in close connection with nature. We began in a tent without electricity or running water… what times full of learning and adventure! Today, we rely on simple, loving techniques to care for the earth, believing that simplicity is what truly works.
Our journey is built on three pillars: soil regeneration, food sovereignty, and shared learning through unschooling. Every day we launch new projects, explore permaculture, and put into practice innovative methods like Ernst Gotsch’s SYNTROPIC AGRICULTURE and JADAM biofertilizer. Joan is actively learning and experimenting with syntropic agriculture, and you’re invited to join this journey of learning and transformation.
Remember to include “PAPADOPOULOS” in your message so we know you’ve read our story.
Important details
Minimum stay: 2–3 weeks.
Volunteers have their own little cabin separate from ours and cook their own meals—of course, we provide the ingredients.
WORKAWAY FAMILIES: please bring your own sleeping setup (caravan, camper, or tent) and handle your own meals; only one adult per family needs to help.
If this lifestyle and the chance to connect deeply with the land resonate with you, we welcome you with open arms!
We are a private homestead- We do produce and sell a small amount of olive oil commercially, but VOLUNTEERS ARE NEVER ASKED TO HELP WITH ANY ASPECT OF OIL PRODUCTION OR SALES.
A big hug and see you soon!

¡Hola, amig@s!

Our way of living is simple and practical. We are doing home education with our children wich is quite interesting. We also both studied fine arts so we are the kind of creative people always having different projects in mind.

Light maintenance tasks: keeping the volunteer cabin clean and organized.
Learning together: we homeschool/unschool our children and sometimes host “forest-school” activities to play and explore nature as a family.
What we do & how you can help
Forest regeneration: gently clearing invasive plants, planting native saplings and observing local wildlife.
Family organic garden: sowing, transplanting, weeding and hand-watering our vegetable beds.
Syntropic Agriculture (forest garden) experiments: preparing new growing strips, mixing biofertilizers (JADAM), managing the plants and watching how nature patterns evolve.
Light upkeep & small repairs: keeping the volunteer cabin tidy and welcoming.
Forest-school & unschooling support: one day a week join Clara to help her.
Care for our family horses: feeding, topping up their water trough and keeping their paddock clean. (They’re family horses, not a business.)

Private volunteer mud and straw tiny house. It has accomodation for two hosts. We still don't have hot water but now we have a fridge on the volunteers house. The toilet is a compost/dry toilet. Every week we will buy food for the volunteers and they cook their meals for themselves in the small house. The food we offer is vegan and chicken eggs. Once a week you can share a dinner with us.
