Hi there!
My name is Yui, and I’m 20 years old. I was born and raised in Japan, and I’m currently studying international culture at university. After graduating from high school, I gained experience in a variety of jobs, which helped me become more independent and adaptable.
I became especially interested in traveling after spending four months in Canada on a study abroad program last year. During that time, I met many people with different perspectives, and it made me want to see more of the world and learn from different ways of thinking.

I’m a creative and positive person, but I’m also responsible and take commitments seriously. Once I decide to do something, I put in genuine effort and enjoy learning through new challenges. I like trying new things and feel comfortable adapting to new environments.
I enjoy staying active and often play basketball or go running for fun. I have good physical stamina, so I’m happy to help with active or hands-on tasks. I also really enjoy sharing cultures and learning from people with different backgrounds and perspectives. Through Workaway, I hope to gain meaningful experiences that I can connect with my university studies and use for my future.
