Hey there, I'm Yiann (pronounced "ee-yan") and I grew up in the bay area, California. I was a classroom teacher for a few years and am taking some time off to explore. I've worked a variety of outdoor jobs as well, from kayak guiding to running a community garden ( : People tell me that I come off as quiet, friendly, relaxed.

I also ask that whoever hosts me is respectful of LGBTQ people.

I don't think I have any reviews of myself here but I can send you reviews for me on AirBnB also (figured that was the next best thing).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I really enjoy being around kids, especially little ones since I used to work at a school. I also teach elementary-level Mandarin privately, and I teach guitar and drums to both kids and adults.

I'm currently working at a local community garden and very slowly learning more about plants. I'd love to learn more about how to farm and other more sustainable ways of living, I just started learning how to fish as well!

I've also done my fair share of office work, I can do administrative tasks and fill customer service roles.

I'd like to pick up new skills as well, I'd love to learn more about farming and building things if someone is willing to supervise me. I pick things up fairly quickly and can complete tasks independently.

I have a lot of random but passionate interests. I like board games, fantasy fiction, sci-fi comics, live jazz, hiking, skateboarding, learning judo and boxing (as a beginner!).
