Description

Heyy, my name is Ya'ad, I am 19 years old and I am from Toronto, Canada. Since I was little I have had a love for travelling and learning about other cultures. I cherish everything that I have learnt from my travels as well as the memories I have made and I would love to keep seeing what the world has to offer. I’m currently living on a quaint island on the east coast of Canada, where I attend university, majoring in Computer Science, but as that does not allow me time for much else during the year, I would love to explore and have new adventures during my time off! As for my other hobbies I have been a dancer for many years, I love music and playing instruments and I am always interested in learning new skills!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the years I have gained valuable skills resulting from my engagement in multiple different work settings. Firstly, I have volunteered on a couple different farming projects, both urban and rural, where I learnt about organic farming methods and growing food sustainably in a permaculture environment. I also have customer service experience from working at a vintage and hand-curated clothing store during my final year in high school, where I managed the shop in person as well as assisted with an online storefront and their social media content. I have also worked with children (both at home and at previous workaways), babysitting, being a camp leader and instructing dance lessons.
