My life has been a vibrant tapestry woven across continents, starting in sunny Monterrey, Mexico, in 2000. While I have no memories of that city, my parents' nomadic spirit quickly took hold, transporting me at the tender age of three to Honduras. From there, we moved to Guatemala, Panama, Mexico City, and finally Cancun, with a childhood soundtrack of shifting landscapes and new schools. Throughout it all, high-level competitive gymnastics was my constant. I also joined a rugby team, played tennis, and dabbled in painting. I cherished the time spent with my big brother and little sister as we adopted an iguana, a tarantula, and a big dog. We all enjoyed cooking with my dad (the eating was even better) and dancing to Latino beats with my mom.
In 2018, I embarked on a new chapter. I set off on my own to France to study a bachelors degree in foreign languages for business and translation. My third year included a school exchange, and I chose to move to Lisbon, where I balanced studying with different jobs (waitress, barmaid, language tutor) and road trips in the area. Amidst all that, plus the pastel de nata and vinho verde, I graduated with honors.
Fluent in Portuguese and craving a new adventure, I applied for a master's degree in international business in Lyon, France. I lived in more shared apartments, took on more jobs (tutoring and hostessing), and an internship in Amsterdam soon followed. I explored the city by bike and took weekend train trips across Europe, with the Northern European wind and rain being no match for my eager spirit!
In August 2023, I started a sales job in Paris, selling gap years and language programs. While the city was fast-paced, the work lacked the fulfillment I craved. This inspired me to create my own gap year. I want to experience the world’s diverse cultures, not just its trendy bars and clubs, which is why 2025 is my Workaway year!
Please let me know if you have any questions ! I will be happy to chat about any fun opportunities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have been a waitress, barmaid, language tutor, sales agent and community manager on social media (also have a master degree in business). Even though, I have a very good logical sense and am very independent, I believe communication is key in every new experience I do, so you can expect a lot of questions from me. I'am organized and like things done well and quick.
