Hi! My name's Veronica and I'm a 39yo Spaniard. Some years ago I quit my job at a local spanish radio and I focused on travelling, I endec up in Ireland, living in Wexford now and studying at UCD atm (I'm doing linguistics and teaching Spanish & italian).
I spent many time abroad thanks to couchsurfing and au-pair like webs, mainly at farms and animal related centers, I'm a licensed dog trainer, healthcare assistant and masseuse. I lived in many different countries such as The Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Tunisia and Turkey, and spent 5 years living in a tiny maltese island.
A couple of years ago I started to visit ecovillages in Spain and Portugal with the aim of learning new skills and some years ago I bought a cave house in a small village in Alicante (Spain).
I can help with gardening, planting, weeding, picking fruits, etc. Also cooking, cleaning or taking care/training animals. I volunteered in SPCAs since I was a kid and also volunteered with the red cross caring for elderly people at risk of isolation.
I'm always curious about learning new skills in general. I worked many years as a chef and I definetely enjoy being in the kitchen. I studied to become a dog trainer so I can help with your dog if you have one! I'm quite a low maintenance kind of guest, I'm used to be independent and I'm mostly fine with everything, I like to believe I'm a good listener.
