Hi, I’m Rita from Germany. :)

I’m someone who enjoys an active life, being outdoors and learning new things. In my everyday life I work in the energy sector, which also reflects something that is important to me personally: sustainability and the way we interact with nature and the world around us.

In 2026 I’m planning to spend time in New Zealand to experience the country more deeply than just as a tourist. I’m excited to meet people, learn practical skills, contribute to meaningful projects and experience everyday life in different places.

I’m a reliable and responsible person and I enjoy practical work. I’m happy to help with gardening, cooking, cleaning, painting, organizing or other daily tasks around the house and garden. I also enjoy physical work and being outside.

I follow a vegan lifestyle for ethical reasons and care deeply about animals and the environment. Cooking plant-based food is something I really enjoy and I’m always happy to share meals and recipes.

In my free time I like hiking, being in nature, working out and exploring new places. I would describe myself as calm, open-minded and respectful, but also independent and easy to live with. I appreciate good conversations, shared meals and learning from different perspectives.

For me, Workaway is about mutual exchange: helping where I can, learning from others and creating a positive experience for everyone involved.

I’m a reliable and practical person who enjoys helping with everyday tasks and learning new skills.

I’m happy to help with general household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, organizing and keeping spaces tidy. Cooking is something I really enjoy, especially plant-based meals, as I follow a vegan lifestyle. I’m used to preparing simple, healthy food and would be happy to cook.

Through my professional background in the energy sector I’m used to working in a structured and responsible way, solving problems and taking ownership of tasks. Hosts can rely on me to be punctual, organized and respectful of their home.

I’m also comfortable with animals and enjoy being around them. I’m always happy to learn new practical skills if someone shows me how to do something.

Overall, I’m someone who works carefully, communicates openly and genuinely wants to contribute and be helpful.
