Hello!

A little bit about me.

I have had some of the most incredible experiences through workaway and hope for that to continue for many more years ahead. I love expanding my world with new experiences and adventure, enjoying being truly present in each moment and squeezing all there is out of the time we have here.

I love hiking, exploring, yoga, meditating, dancing, journaling, reading, community living… watching the sunrise and the sunset. Floating in the sea and watching the stars. I have an interest in holistic therapies and natural medicine (I am a Reiki and Pranic healing practitioner) and am always interested in learning more from others.

I am grounded, curious and happy to muck in wherever needed. I value radical authenticity, showing up with kindness and compassion and I truly believe that everything happens exactly the way it is supposed to. I trust entirely in the magic that unfolds when I follow my heart and flow where I am being guided. So far this faith has gifted me an incredible life and I live it with immense gratitude.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a professional events producer so my organisation, creative and project management skills are certainly something you could benefit from. I have project managed large teams of upto 150 people during festival builds, excellent at presentation making, scheduling, budgeting, and general event planning.

I am proficient in word/excel/googleslides/keynote/powerpoint and can also build websites using squarespace. I am also a photographer (my photographs are on insta here - @mmeraki.photos), on top of this I have experience managing social media pages and creating content, including copywriting.

Before I started working in events I worked in primary schools as a Teaching Assistant and also as a nanny so I have an abundance of experience with kids and I absolutely love working with children and animals.

I have spent a lot of time helping out with house renovations including in France working on a run down farmhouse in Lauzerte. My role there included plastering, painting, building furniture and gardening so I am happy with general manual labour and certainly not afraid of hard work. I also love getting on with a project and do so on my own initiative.

I have plenty of experience working in hosting roles and enjoy being a friendly welcoming face for guests. I’m a speedy learner and happy taking a number of roles within hospitality including cleaning rooms, bartending, waitressing and reception.

I pick up new skills very quickly so can be taught and then left to my own devices very easily. Hopefully I can show you I have plenty of skills for a mixture of roles and I would be happy to come aboard your team! :)
