Description

Cultural and language exchange is what motivates me the most. I have been traveling since I was 17 years old, and still going. I lived in Spain, US, Czech Repulic, Ireland, and Norway. Recently I have been backpacking alone in different parts of the world for several months. It is not about the place, but about the people you encounter on the way. I have met so many kind people out there, and that's what gives me happiness when I travel.
Another thing that brings me happiness is constantly experimenting new things and starting new projects. I hate rutine in life.

I would like to possibly help in a farm/vineyard and learn more about wine production or gardening/animal caring. I have recently matured a big passion for this and my goal is to work with that in the future.

One of the reasons why I am participating in Workaway is to live in a French-speaking country for a while to improve my French. I had French at school for three years so I have some basics. My goal is to become quite fluent to use it in a professional context. In exchange I can help with English, Italian, Spanish, and Norwegian.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a very active person in general, and I am quite handy (although not professional). My parents own a small farm in my hometown in Italy, so I have been helping them since I was a kid with growing fruits and veggies, making tomato sauce, picking up olives, grapes, and others. One thing you should know is that I am very goal oriented, structured, I dare to do things and I never give up.
I have very good IT/computer skills and I have been working long in the hospitality/tourism sector, so I can help with that, as well as marketing.
As an Italian I can cook of course:)
I have some experience helping elderly people and people with different disabilities in Norway and I also worked in a primary school in Norway (before and after school teaching assistant).

Physical activity in all its forms is what I enjoy the most. I like hiking, running, skiing, climbing, biking, swimming.
I am a big advocate of the so called "open-air life" concept ("friluftsliv"), which means I love everything that is outdoor, from activites in nature to camping. Back to basics and simpler lifestyle is my motto.
