Description

Hi there! We’re Tom and Greg, a 33-year-old Polish couple living in Berlin, Germany (together for over 13 years). In November 2026, we’re heading back to Australia for our THIRD adventure Down Under :)

We’ve already had two amazing workaway experiences in Australia and New Zealand, in 2019 and 2023. Both were truly life-changing, and we’re now excited again to visit favorite spots, discover new places, meet new inspiring people and take on some new challenges.

A little bit about us:

🍇 for the past 4 years, we’ve been running a small vineyard in Poland and learning more about winemaking every season. We completed WSET Level 2 earlier this year

🍇 we divide our time between Berlin and the Polish countryside, where we’re constantly expanding our garden and trying to grow more of our own food

🍇 Tom is a vegan chef, Greg is a barista

🍇 we’re both vegan and enjoy cooking, gardening and spending time outdoors

🍇 we’re easy-going, friendly, responsible and open-minded.

Our previous Workaway experiences:

We’ve done a bit of everything: gardening, farm work, helping run a yoga retreat centre, help with cooking at modern Buddhist centre, petsitting and much more. We also became completely fascinated by Australian flora and fauna.

We’re not afraid of learning something completely new. We enjoy being useful, sharing everyday life with our hosts and becoming part of the place rather than just passing through... :)

Tom and Greg were great workawayers! They happily undertook any task that was set from gardening, cleaning, dog grooming to cooking and did everything to a high standard and with attention to detail. Greg even used the excavator to help build some goat playground things!
