Description

I'm a 32-yr old explorer, working musician, student and tennis player. In 2016-17 I did a 10,000km solo bike trip through Nepal/India & Central Asia. In the middle I stopped for the winter in Kazakhstan and end up working as an English Teacher for 7 months. I've been mostly settled in Melbourne since 2018 and completed an Arts Degree (Geography Major) at the University of Melbourne, and this July I will begin a Master of Environments.

My professional career to this point has been as a musician (bass player and guitarist), working in contexts such as weddings/functions, cruise ships, festivals etc.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First and foremost I have years of experience as a performer/musician, and can help with teaching bass/guitar/music theory, as well as teaching English and Spanish.

I have a lot of well developed soft-skills such as interpersonal communication, adaptation to different environments and living conditions, reliability and organisation, researching and critical evaluation, teamwork and collaboration.

Although not a trained tradesperson I've done bits and pieces here and there, particularly landscaping, and some use of power tools and hand tools. I've done quite a bit of manual labour, lifting/carrying is no issue, nor is getting dirty! Do some gardening and learning more about permaculture - had a permaculture internship last year for a little while.

General computer skills, developing knowledge of GIS (QGIS) and basic programming (R).
