Hi! My name is Tiffany and I live in Oakland, California. I work as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) for children. I love cooking and discovering new flavors to bring into my home-cooked meals. I'm a big reader and enjoy bike-riding, and connecting over coffee and tea. My parents are Persian and immigrated to the US before I was born. I've grown up on their stories and have always had a hunger for learning about new cultures and languages. I've had two prior WorkAway experiences and they were some of my most memorable! I am a fast learner and am eager to help you out - while making new memories :)

Tiffany is a good soldier. She endured the summer heat, humidity, and classroom chaos with humor and professionalism. She shared her extensive knowledge of linguistic with us and put it to valuable use in the classroom. She was an energetic contributor in school and at home. We were sad to see her leave us and hope to see her here again someday.

Do and his family were wonderful hosts. I felt very welcome during my short stay in their home. I was given a key to come and go as I pleased, but I very much enjoyed spending time with th family.
