We're currently at home in the Netherlands, actively searching for a new adventure in South America!

Description

We're a couple from the Netherlands (aged 24 and 25), and are both nearly done studying Industrial Design Engineering. We're both passionate about nature and outdoor life, and happiest when physically active and working on practical, hands-on tasks. Outdoor sports like mountain biking, wakeboarding, hiking, etc. are amongst our favourites. Between us, we share experience in handling horses, design (online and physical), hospitality (cooking and bar), maintenance (fencing) and DIY-tasks (building simple furniture with wood). We're looking for a adventure abroad as a break from in between our studies and work as the main purpose of our travels.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Hi, I'm Annika and I'm a 25 year old girl who loves to be outside and around animals. I am used to working long days, ain't afraid to get my hands dirty and am a quick learner! I have been riding horses since I was a kid and ever since have gained experience in the horse world worldwide. I have driven cattle on horse (and mule ;))back in Australia (including handling and branding cattle), groomed for show jumpers, handled yearlings on a racing stud, guided safari's on horseback in Namibia, and trained green horses in Iceland. My home base is the Netherlands, where I interact and ride horses multiple times a week. Although I am mainly interested in working with horses, I am also very open to learning new skills in maintenance and/or construction.

I enjoy learning new skills and contributing to projects with a clear purpose, particularly those related to sustainability or mobility. My background in design helps me think creatively and adapt quickly to new challenges.

We've both worked in hospitality before, so we'd be able to help out with that as well.
