Les activités qui m'intéressent :

Currently on a journey towards Kyrgyzstan from Greece. Deeply in connection with nature, gardening, eco-building, music, languages, community living and the spirits of the forest and mountains.

Description

In March 2023 I embarked on the biggest journey of my life, that has become my life. I left my hometown in Riga, Latvia and fully devoted myself to seek new cultures, languages and ways of living while hitchhiking Europe zigzag! Now after searching and seeking for more than 2 years I have become clearer in what way I desire to live my life. Nature drives me, it opens me up and the magic happens itself. Through nature I have connected both deeply with myself and with others, human or other entities. I love to learn and put my knowledge into understanding. I seek to fully live my life without the need of interacting with the city environment. Over this period I have lived in several eco-projects, learned about gardening, eco building, tought myself guitar, singing and music theory, learned Greek, experienced true community spirit and began to live my life based on permaculture principles.
Meanwhile I have done several short projects on tiny house construction, creation of a pond, carpentry and etc. for expansion of my skills and abilities, which is also what drives me currently for what I seek from workaway.info

Other people have said this: I am a grandpa trapped in a young body, deeply philosophical, with sense of humour and simplicity towards life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gardening: hobby skill, I am in peace when surrounded by plants, weeding, harvesting, pruning and so on. I know how to make tinctures and oils from the properties of the plants.

Food: I am a pretty passionate cook with great diversity of knowledge. Have several year kitchen experience, I know ingredients and I love to make bread, pesto or anything that people are used to buy but are extremely easy to make.

Building (the passion): Building has driven me for a long time now, started with building skateparks in 2020 and slowly learned about eco building, attended several workshops and genuinely I have deep insight on building methods as: cob, plastering, carpentry, tadelakt, rammed earth, adobe bricks, earthbags, wattle and daub and etc. I surely say that this is my highest motivation and something that is driving me forwards.

Community living: I have done ESC project in an eco community where I learned to create activities, hold space of many people, host events and facilitate certain tasks mentioned above or other.

I am also a licensed SKI instructor!

And other skills that could be worthy in many situations: Studied languages, playing guitar and singing, survival skills, professional hitchhiker, breathing exercises, yoga, stretching.
