Hi! I'm Tash. I'm 24 (soon to turn 25), and grew up in London, UK.

I have recently completed my master's degree in Environmental Policy, and I am now travelling to Peru and Colombia for around 3 months (between September and December). I am looking for Workaways related to the environment, farm work, conservation, or sustainable living.

About me:
I am a friendly, open-minded, and positive individual. Growing up, my family often hosted travellers, so I value communal living and cultural exchange, and I'm comfortable in shared spaces. I'm fit and active, enjoying yoga and weightlifting. I have lots of volunteering experience, including fruit picking and gardening. I'm excited to learn, get my hands dirty, and get involved!

My experience and skills:
-I have plenty of experience working with children, but this time I am looking to try anything related to the environment and land, whether that involves conservation work, farm work, or an eco project.
-I grew up with cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I've also looked after dogs and have experience with dog walking
-I am a native English speaker, and I speak basic Spanish. I will have completed Spanish lessons before my Workaway, and I am motivated to practice and improve
-I have plenty of experience volunteering. In the UK, I volunteered at a refugee and asylum seeker centre (cooking meals, childcare, community support), as well as events and campaigns related to environmental issues.

Interests & hobbies:
I am a lifelong vegetarian who loves to cook healthy, flavourful vegetarian food. I love travelling and solo travelling. I am also interested in social issues, history, and politics, and learning new perspectives.

I'd love to join a project where I can contribute, learn, and make connections with people.
