Description

I’m a 32‑year‑old Canadian with roots in India and a big appreciation for nature and slow, intentional travel. I’ve visited a few countries and what I enjoy most is connecting with people over real, thoughtful conversations rather than touristy checklists. I’m vegetarian and enjoy cooking simple Indian meals, and I love hiking – I’ve completed 3,000–4,000 metre peaks in both the Himalayas and the Canadian Rockies. I’m tech‑savvy after 6+ years in the tech industry. I’ve helped with flooring, wall panelling, painting and small house repairs, and I’m currently interested in learning more about plumbing. I speak English, Hindi and Punjabi fluently, adapt easily to new places, and really like contributing to everyday life wherever I stay.

You can practice English, Hindi or Punjabi with me – I’m fluent in all three and studied them in school. I’m happy to do simple conversation practice, help with homework or support kids with basic language skills. I have some hands‑on experience with babysitting and creative play from working at an indoor playground for children, where I helped supervise kids, organize simple games and keep the space fun and safe. I usually connect well with children, enjoy spending time with them, and I’m happy to support families with playtime, basic care and light help around the house. I’m also open to learning new phrases in your language while we exchange.

I’m comfortable helping with general maintenance and practical tasks around the house. I’ve done flooring, wall panelling, painting the house and small repairs, and I’m keen to learn more about plumbing and other hands‑on skills. I enjoy cooking vegetarian Indian meals and I’m happy to help with meal prep, cleaning and everyday chores. I speak English, Hindi and Punjabi, so I can help with language practice or translation, and I’m very tech‑savvy after working 6+ years in the tech industry (computers, internet, digital tools). I also love the outdoors and hiking, so I’m motivated to help with gardening, farm work or projects that are close to nature.
