Hi! We’re Talia and Daniele, a curious, close-knit couple with a strong desire to learn by doing.
We met during the Camino de Santiago two years ago, a journey that left a deep impression on both of us and helped us realize how much we love meaningful, down-to-earth experiences with people and nature.

We found out about Workaway through a friend who spoke about it with great enthusiasm, and we immediately felt drawn to its spirit of sharing, exchange, and simplicity.

We love being outdoors, living in tune with natural rhythms, and enjoying the beauty of simple but meaningful days. I am a yoga teacher and artisan, I create jewelry and love anything that involves creativity and working with my hands. Daniele is passionate about gardening and woodworking, he’s practical, thoughtful, and always ready to help out.

We enjoy learning new things, taking care of the places we stay in, and being part of projects where people work together with care and a good spirit.

We’re happy to offer our time and energy to contribute, connect, and grow, and we’re excited for what’s ahead!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Talia
I’m a certified yoga teacher, specialized in Yin Yoga. I have a strong background in arts and craftsmanship: I’ve attended several jewelry-making and goldsmithing courses, and I’m currently studying jewelry design and production in Valenza, Italy.

I also studied photography and video at the Academy of Fine Arts, so I’m confident with cameras and editing tools. I use Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro) and I love taking photos and creating visual content.

I speak fluent English (C1 certified) and I also understand and speak Spanish at an intermediate level.

Daniele
Daniele is a practical and hands-on person with great manual skills. He has experience in gardening, woodworking, and small-scale construction work. He also has solid skills in mechanics, plumbing, and basic electrical work. He knows how to use a welding machine and is always happy to learn something new or fix what’s broken.

Together, we’re adaptable, collaborative, and motivated to contribute wherever we go.

In our free time, we love being outdoors and staying active, nature is definitely our element. We enjoy hiking and cycling, and we recently discovered via ferratas, which we absolutely love! Every now and then we also go indoor bouldering, we’re not professionals, but we really enjoy the challenge and the movement.

Music is another big part of our lives. I used to play bass, and Daniele has played drums for many years in different bands. These days he also enjoys playing guitar, especially when we want to relax and share some music together.

We’re both big fans of board games, of all kinds! Whether it’s strategy, party games or something more creative, we love spending time like that, especially with other people.

We enjoy a balance between being active in nature, being creative, and connecting with others, whether through music, conversation, or working on a shared project.
