Description
I am Takuya, a 31 year-old Japanese guy. Until last year I lived in the Netherlands for five years for my doctoral study. My research was to reveal function of cells and genes in brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. Now I am having a gap year in Japan and traveling in Japan and around the world. My hobbies are wandering in nature, camping, any kinds of sports, especially rock climbing. I am interested in living in nature with a tiny house and a small farm someday. And I like to connect with people, which always makes me happy!
In July and August 2023, I travelled in South America for two months. Then I had my first workaway experience in Colombia. I stayed in a small town for three weeks and taught English to Colombian kids in an English school, and it was fantastic to me. I had nice hosts, local people, students. I would like to try another workaway experience to help someone's project. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am good at talking to people. I have a bit of teaching experience in Japan. Also researching and learning new things. I have less experience some practical things such as building, DIY, gardening, electronics, engineering, etc.. However, I have a healthy body with full of energy, and I would like to help these practical works because I want to learn them.
