Bonjour,
My name is Solène and I’m taking a gap year before starting a Master’s degree in Communication. I grew up in the French countryside and had the chance to travel a lot with my parents as a child.
Now, I want to explore the world on my own and live new experiences.This year, I’ve decided to become a Workawayer because I’d love to develop new skills, especially in tourism and hospitality, which are fields I’m very interested in but haven’t had the chance to explore at school. I also want to improve my language skills, discover new cultures, and meet people from all around the world. I'm curious, motivated, and always excited to learn and help wherever I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I recently completed a Bachelor's degree in communication, with a specialization in Digital Creation, in Laval, France. Through this program, I developed skills in communication, content creation, and community management. I’ve completed several internships (in France and one Erasmus in Italy) where I managed social media accounts for company, like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. I’m passionate about video and photo editing, and I love working on creative visual projects.

I’m a very creative person and enjoy crafting in my free time. I love painting on canvases or even on wall haha, and I often build treehouses or cabins in the forest for my little cousins. I want to learn new things, and bring positive energy and creativity to the projects I’m involved in.

I love photography and video making, whenever I travel, I enjoy creating little videos to keep memories of the experience. I'm also really into journaling, especially collage and painting, which reflect on daily moments. I'm passionate about cinema, whether it's classic films or more recent ones. More generally, I have a deep interest in art, I love creating and learning about different styles, and also discovering the work of various artists. I also enjoy listening to music, especially pop and folk genres, which often inspire me in my creative projects. Finally, I love traveling (like every workayer I gess) , not just to see new places, but to discover different cultures, local traditions, new ways of thinking, and to meet people from around the world.
