Hi There! I'm Sera and I'm solo backpacking South America for a year! I started my trip in Santiago, Chile in November 2025 and am working my way north.

After 6 months of being on the move I'm looking to slow things down a bit, connect with a community, and hone my Spanish language skills.

I'm bold, sociable, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and independent. I'm always eager to spend time outdoors, get my hands dirty, crack jokes, and make new friends.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Matt: I have a strong mechanical background and have worked as an automotive mechanic, volunteer firefighter, and professional baker. I'm proficient in woodworking/carpentry and a capable problem solver!

Sera: I have a culinary arts degree, great people skills and worked for 3 seasons on a small women run organic farm. I also had a short stint as a substitute public school teacher.

We both like any kind of work that is hands on and active! We're enthusiastic, eager to learn, and enjoy working with others.

We have spent a month with Sera and Matt from mid-June to mid-July. They are a couple, friendly and very sociable and they like the fysical challenge of working outside and they love to get things done. We found them to be really flexible and good humoured. Highly recommended.
