Hi!
My name is Anaïs, I come from Belgium and 22 years old .
I have already traveled to many countries like Indonesia, Japan, England, Finland, and more (some of these trips solo). I love stepping out of my comfort zone and discovering new ways of living, working, and thinking.
I’m gonna spend a all year in New Zealand starting at November 2025 to October 2026, working while learning more about your culture, language, and discovering new lifestyles.
Quick to adapt, happy to take responsibility, and always ready to help out in practical, thoughtful ways (even when things don’t go as planned). I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals, including farm animals, dogs, cats, birds, and even wild ones but I’m eager to learn new skills and help wherever I can, whether it’s in the garden, with animals, cooking, building or other projects around your place.
This is the first time I’ve been away from home for so long and the first time I’m using Workaway, but I’m really excited to live this new adventure!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Like I said in my general description I have a strong passion for animals and acquired a lot experience working with a variety of them, including farm animals, pets, and wildlife. Comfortable and confident in handling animals, I enjoy spending time caring for them and learning about their needs.
In addition to my love for animals, I have a lot experience in the hospitality industry, especially in restaurant settings. I am used to working in fast-paced environments and always ready to help wherever needed.
I’m also very comfortable with outdoor work from gardening and farming to general maintenance and small construction tasks. I enjoy physical work and am always willing to get my hands dirty.
I'm eager to learn new skills, languages and expand my experience !
