Hi there! My name is Carl Shun Goss and I go by Shun (pronounced Shoon). I am excited to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures. I am a friendly person with lots of positive energy and love to share my time with similar individuals. I love to try new things and be creative through music and art.

Outside of work I am very outdoorsy and like to surf, rock climb, hike, and make music. I get along with anyone from any background and truly appreciate shared experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I currently work at a plant nursery where I help with almost everything that is needed at the nursery. My main role however is in sick plant diagnostics, where I identify why plants are not doing well and give an outline on how to fix the issue for the customer. I also fix, clean, build things in the nursery when work is slow. I am happy to share what I know but also am looking to further my hands in experience and learn from different perspectives.

My degree is in environmental studies and took various courses and internships in permaculture and ecology. My goal is to eventually bring what I learn in my travels and open a regenerative landscaping business and hopefully have my own homestead where I can be a Workaway host myself.

For my last job, I worked with an award winning organic landscaping company. We did everything including irrigation, pruning, planting, and my favorite, which was rock work like flagstone and dry-stack rock walls.
