Description
I'm Shani (40) and I currently live in La Rochelle, France with my 2 kids (10 and 7 yrs old, bilingual in French and English, and my daughter knows a little Spanish too). I would like to travel to Spain with my kids and partner for the month of August. I would like my kids to learn Spanish (and me to improve mine). We would like to be more outdoors during this time and enjoy nature whilst working on a farm or sustainable project. I'm an English teacher but I studied architecture and interior design in London and The Netherlands. I have always been interested in the protection of the environment, reducing waste, alternative materials and eco-construction.
I am requesting a work away position only for me but I would like to bring my partner and kids along. We will bring a van for them to sleep in if it is possible to park it on your land. The kids will hopefully be able to play with the local children.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am curious and motivated to learn more about bamboo construction and other low-tech methods of construction. I love gardening, crafts, learning new skills and being outdoors. I grew up in Zimbabwe and England, and love travelling. I studied in England, Australia and Holland and have also lived in Corsica and Guadeloupe. During my summer holidays I'd like to learn more about organic agriculture but also making crafts, soap making, new cultures and meeting people. I love dancing and have followed classes in salsa, african and contemporary dance (but not all at the same time - although I like a challenge). I like cooking and sharing meals too. As my partner is not able to travel due to health problems, I will be alone during this WWOOF experience. I am interested in staying in a natural place with a beautiful landscape where I can do various activities. I will be available in may 2022 for around 3 weeks. I love vegan food but I also eat meat and cheese. I'm not too difficult with food, as long as it's not smelly cheese :)
